Częstochowa Philharmonic Hall hosts various symphonic concerts as well as oratorios and cantatas, recitals, and educational programs for children and adolescents. This institution is also one of the main organizers of Bronisław Huberman Violin Festival, Hot Jazz Spring Festival and Spring Guitar Festival. Częstochowa Philharmonic Orchestra performed all around the world and produced countless records for radio, tv and other media.
Philharmonic Hall was built in 1960's on the foundation of synagogue destroyed by Germans during WWII. On the wall of Philharmonic Hall there is a commemorative plaque dedicated to Bronisław Huberman – a world class violin virtuoso and humanist who was born in Częstochowa.
