Museum of Halina Poświatowska, also known as House of Poetry, is a museum exhibition dedicated to the outstanding poet known for her themes of love and erotica. Museum is situated in the family house of Halina Poświatowska, which was rebuilt in 2006. Every room in the House of Poetry is color-themed and offers a multimedia experience with Halina Poświatowska's voice that can be heard from speakers, photographs from different periods of her life and display cases with various memorabilia from family collection. 

 

Zbigniew Myga – a brother of the prematurely deceased poet – lives in the vicinity of the House of Poetry and agreed to be its curator. The House of Poetry was opened on the 72nd anniversary of Halina Poświatowska’s birthday and, at the same time, on the 40th anniversary of her death (celebrated on the 11th of October).

The ticket to the House of Poetry entitles you to free admission to the following locations of Częstochowa Museum:
